Fertilab

Our Lab

At FertiLab we aim for the holistic approach to plant nutrition. In our laboratory we carry out various tests aimed at being sure that the fertilizers we prepare meet every specification and will satisfy even the most demanding grower. But for us, the pursuit of optimizing production performance starts from the ground up.

Our company has a privately owned soil laboratory in which soil analyses, leaf tissue analuses and fertilizer analyses are carried out (soon also irrigation water analyses). Let’s answer some questions that quite rightly dominate the minds of producers.

Why is soil analysis important?

By knowing the nutritional status of the soil, we can qualitatively assess what kind of fertilization is needed for each plot of land. Thus, the grower not only saves money due to targeted fertilization, but also optimizes the yield of his crop. FertiLab does not produce granular fertilizers, our experienced agronomists can advise you, but also supply you with the right fertilizers of guaranteed quality from partner companies.

So what more does leaf tissue analysis offer?

Through leaf tissue analysis we are able to identify – in the specific cultivation phase – the deficiencies of the plant and immediately offer it the necessary nutrients, mainly through foliar fertilization. Thus, at the critical stages, we have a better insight into the plant’s requirements and provide solutions that help increase production.

Fertilab

Our laboratory is therefore fully equipped with state-of-the-art machinery

Analyses performed

Soil Analyses:

pH, Electric Conductivity, Water soluble salts, Granulation composition(Mechanical Analysis), Total and Active Calcium Carbonate, Organic Matter, Cation Exchange Capacity(C.E.C) and Interchangeable Cations. Macro- and Micro-nutrients.

Leaf tissue analysis:

Quantitative (volumetric) determination of ammonia and determination of digestible forms of macro and micronutrients.

Organic Matter-Manure Analyses:

Determination if the following are eligible for agricultural use: Moisture, Organic Matter, Decomposition degree (C/N ratio, CEC) and its nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, boron and trace elements content (Iron, Zinc, Manganese, Copper).
